I work as an Account Executive at Name PR — a leading global music business communications consultancy based in London, UK.
We have exceptional specialist knowledge and links throughout the music industry and global business and technology press. Our business clients get featured across all major music trade, live trade, broadsheet and tech publications including the BBC, The Guardian, Financial Times, Forbes and The Verge.
Founded in 1999, Name PR's reliability, flexibility and strategy planning has resulted in us retaining clients including Merlin, Proper Music Group, Association of Independent Music (AIM) and FUGA for decades.
I joined the company in April 2019 initially as a part-time PR consultant before undertaking a full-time position as a Press Assistant in September 2019. I was promoted to Junior Account Executive in September 2020 before being promoted to Account Executive in February 2021.
I work with a range of clients in the digital music & tech start-ups industry as well as a few clients in the music business, live and music consumer sectors. Further details about my clients and the work I do below.
4th Floor Creative is Sony Music Entertainment UK’s in-house creative division, launched in 2018 to unite the company’s creative disciplines. Comprising of Brand Partnerships, Sync, Visual Creative, Podcasting, Digital and Audience Development, the London-based department orchestrates world-leading campaigns that utilise an array of contemporary formats, from video to gaming to voice, to bring an artist’s creative vision to life.
Projects I've been apart of since starting working with them in November 2019 include Bring Me the Horizon releasing the first Spotify data-driven personalised merch (featured in The Verge, Ad Week, CMU) and "Number One Fan" with Tom Walker — the first artist-led music quiz Alexa Skill (featured in The Drum, Music Week, Music Ally). In addition to this, I've also worked on raising the profile of key members of staff including securing an Ad Week "Inside The Brand" interview for Dorothy Hui, SVP of Digital and Audience Development.
